1. Josef Chromy Wines

Find the Josef Chromy Cellar Door Cafe and Winery in the estate’s original 1880s homestead, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Taste their fine cool climate wines, treat yourself to some fresh Tassie produce, and take in the scenic vineyard and lake views. Grab a fresh hamper from the delicatessen and dine alfresco in the landscaped grounds. Wine varieties include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, a vintage sparkling and Botrytis Riesling. The cellar door is open daily from 10am to 5pm.

For the last few years, Josef Chromy Wines have hosted the ‘Effervescence Tasmania’ sparkling wine festival. There’s no word on this year’s event yet, but it’s usually on in November, so keep an ear out.

2. Jinglers Creek

Jinglers Creek is a small, family operated vineyard producing high quality wine with loving care. Join the cellar door tasting experience and follow your vineyard hosts on a journey through the flavours of the Jinglers Creek range.
