Festival of Roses at Woolmers

Woolmers Estate is a unique and fascinating reflection of colonial life in Tasmania and is one of the most historically significant heritage properties in Australia.
Woolmers will be displaying over thousands of roses, Antique Fair, Art Exhibition together with showcasing local produce.
Over 80 stalls ranging from wine, food, jewellery, plants, art and crafts. Special Guests are Ben Milbourne, Gardening Guru Angus Stewart and Henry & Anna from Tasmanian Truffles.
Social Circus Tasmania will be at the Festival conducting a Circus workshop from 10:30am – 12:30pm. Children and Adults are welcome to join in and learn the skills of juggling, plate twirling and much more. This is a free activity.
Longford Primary school will be displaying artworks themed around “Historical Longford” . The artworks will be displayed in the old Woolshed at the Estate and we are expecting around 100 entries from Grade 1 – 7!
There will be guided tours in the rose garden, kite flying, whip cracking, Thomas the Train and much much more for family and children.
9am – 4pm.
$10 per person.
